Model flight - Appartments Baiersbronn inside of the National Park -Apartmenthouse Wiesengrund

For the model flight in the region there is the "Zuflucht"  an outstanding south to westwind hillside and offers almost alpine flight conditions.

On a clear day, the Alps and the nearby Vosges can be seen next to the view of the model aircraft,  which is together a treat for the eyes.

The Zuflucht is in the Black Forest the only hillside where you can fly your model planes. It unfolds its full charm in the often prevailing westerly wind.

To startt your models there is a catapult provided of the local model flying club "MSC Baiersbronn - Wilder Haufen". Smaller models in turn can be started manually.

The entire airfield, which is steep, is situated on a grassy slope. Furthermore, one side of the Ski slope is limited by bushes, which are located on the edge of slope. Anyway a soft and gentle landing on the clearly visible and grassy hillside is easily possible.
